September, 2012: It has been a quiet year for writing, but I did publish some research about
the silversmith Lona Schaeffer for the Sotheby's Twentieth Century Design catalogue
in June. And this fall, Rachel Friedman interviewed me in a feature about writers
who try to make a living doing other things in Creative Nonfiction. I recently completed a
research internship in the American Wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
